SAOTA are famous amongst others for their luxury Atlantic seaboard projects in Cape Town. Designing in Mauritius is similar and totally different at the same time. Similar in that one wants to capture the spirit of the place, and different in that on an Island luxury is about tranquility, space and relaxation. SAOTA use the term ‘barefoot luxury’ to define the quality of the environment they are creating at Le Parc de Mont Choisy. The choice of materials finishes and colors engage with the environment to create a magical and sensual experience. We have aimed to capture the essence of contemporary Mauritian lifestyle in the way we believe a sophisticated clientele would expect… the timeless and elegant dream getaway.”
