Accounts Officer

Main Responsibilities

Reporting to the Group Property Accountant, the Accounts Clerk will perform duties namely accounting, bookkeeping and reporting in the accounting department. He/She has to ensure inter alia:

  • Proper bookkeeping, processing of entries and maintain proper accounting records;
  • The completeness, accuracy and accounting of the various revenue and costs streams;
  • Preparation of monthly management accounts, quarterly accounts, annual financial statements and all returns required for compliance (VAT, MRA, etc)

Education :

  • Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • ACCA Level 1 and currently pursuing ACCA Level 2

Sales and Administrative Executive

Reporting to the Head of Projects, the Sales and Administrative Executive is responsible for developing, planning, and implementing the company’s sales strategy, whilst monitoring and analyzing performance and sales optimization. The candidate will also assist the estate agents in the overall sales process, making appointments and showing buyers around the property, implementing promotional plans, gathering customer data and liaising with the notary team to organize clients’ administrative files in relation to sales agreements.

Education :

Company Secretarial Executive

The Company Secretarial Executive is responsible of organizing and coordinating all Board and Committee meetings of Mont Choisy Group of Companies, ensuring full compliance with all relevant laws and best practices. The incumbent will work closely with the Chairman for the preparation of agendas, minutes of meetings, resolutions, and statutory filings.

Main Responsibilities

  • Overseeing proper scheduling, coordination and operation of the meetings and committee meetings;
  • Organising and preparing agendas and papers for board and committee meetings;
  • Maintaining up to date records and distributing material;
  • Taking minutes and following up actions from meetings;
  • Oversee the maintenance of annual calendar of board and committee meetings;
  • Ensuring full compliance with relevant constitutional documents, terms of reference/ charters;
  • Preparation and submission of all statutory fillings in an efficient and timely manner;
  • Overall responsibility for maintenance of statutory books and registers;
  • Assisting with the preparation of the annual statutory report and accounts;
  • Preparation of board resolutions;
  • Liaising with legal advisors on ad hoc projects and issues affecting the businesses;
  • Responsible for maintenance and renewal of D&O insurance.

Competencies :

  • ICSA /FCIS or legal qualified;
  • At least 5 years post qualification experience in a public or PIE environment;

The legal and Compliance Executive will be responsible inter-alia for heading the legal department, managing legal and contracts administration, liaising with notary, reviewing and advising on CRPs, VEFAs, Deeds of sale, Reglements de Co-Propriété, Syndic matters, settlement of disputes and oversee compliance in relation to anti-money laundering policies and regulations.

Education :

  • Law degree with specialisation in property related matters and commercial contracts
