Golf Workshop Assistant

Duties

• Daily issuing of fuel for all equipment and record keeping
• Daily spot checks of equipment on site and makes any necessary adjustments
• Oversees workshop area and maintains a well-presented workshop
• Assists in any operation on the golf course when needed
• Monitor usage of course machinery consumables
• Repairs and adjusts engines and cutting mechanisms on various heavy and light mowing equipment
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Maintains a clean, safe work environment and well-organized parts store
• Have ability to understand and follow oral and written direction
• Team player and have cooperative working relationships with other employee

Experience :

  • Valid Driver’s License
  • A working knowledge of the general operation of gasoline and diesel equipment as well as the repair/servicing of same
  • A certificate of attendance in a technical college or school
  • At least one-year related experience in a sizeable mechanical workshop
  • Ability to understand and follow oral and written directives
  • Ability to work in teams with a cooperative mind and always willing to assist colleagues
  • Basic knowledge on computer will be an advantage.

HR Coordinator

Reporting to the General Manager, Golf, Estate and Lifestyle, the HR Coordinator facilitates the human resource processes at all business locations. 

Main Responsibilities

This role also provides administrative support to the human resource function as needed, including record-keeping, file maintenance and HR Information Systems entries.

Education :

  • Degree in Human Resources Management or Management with specialization in HR or equivalent

Competencies :

  • Self –Driven and assertive
  • Logical thinker and ability to take initiatives
  • Reliable, trustworthy and supportive team member
  • Ability to handle employee relations
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Good understanding of human resource principles, practices and procedures
  • Excellent time management with a proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software and Vipertex system.
  • Fair knowledge of Health & Safety requirements

Minimum of 3 years’ experience in similar position.

Group HR Executive

Reporting to the Group Head of Finance and Administration, the Group HR Executive will be responsible for providing an effective and efficient human resource generalist function that is aligned with the Group’s strategic goals and will be expected to successfully implement HR strategy and deliver, in conjunction with subordinates, a progressive HR service within the Group. 

Main Responsibilities

The areas of responsibilities will include inter alia strategic organisational design, recruitment and selection, remuneration and benefits, employee relations, talent management and retention, performance management system, change management, skills and professional development, employee engagement as well as the design and implementation of human resources policies and procedures.

Education :

  • Master Degree in Human Resources Management or Management with specialisation in HR or equivalent

Competencies :

  • Excellent organization and inter-personal skills
  • Good Communicator (verbal and written)
  • Self-starter with capability to take initiatives
  • Reliable, trustworthy and supportive team member
  • Good knowledge of labour legislations
  • Ability to handle employee relations independently and objectively

The Young Graduate Programme

The Young Graduate Programme is a scheme that aims to attract young talents to the Group. Selected candidates will be given the training and exposure to the Group’s varied business activities enabling them to emerge as the leaders of tomorrow and take on higher responsibilities. While on this journey, the graduates will provide general project management support and administrative assistance to the Senior Management Team in achieving project delivery as per a defined work plan, conduct research, collect data and prepare management reports.

Education :

Degree in any of the following fields: Economics, Finance, Marketing, Law, Real Estate Management, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Agriculture or related field
