Awareness has real power. Giving young people the tools to build good habits is how tomorrow’s change takes shape. It starts with small, everyday gestures, at school and at home.
It is in this spirit that Mont Choisy has partnered with We-Recycle to guide Grade 7 students across several colleges in the North through a dedicated session on recyclable materials: plastics, paper, cardboard, glass, metal, textile and organic waste. This initiative builds on the programme already delivered to Grade 5 and 6 classes, which has to date reached approximately 1,000 students.
A nod, too, to Plastic Free July, and above all to organisations like WeRecycle, who have spent years working on the ground against plastic pollution, offering concrete solutions for collection and recovery, reducing what ends up in landfill and giving these materials a second life.
Supporting these structures is how we build the future.
